Grand Junction is located close to great downhill and cross country skiing.

◆ The closest downhill ski area is Powderhorn. Powderhorn is about 45 minutes from the Board & Buckle so you can pick up your rental gear, head off to the slopes, and be back to return your gear, all in one day. Skip strait to their snow report page if you need the latest data.
